High Silica Fabrics are asbestos-free woven as a high temperature heat resisting fabric. It is widely used for fire blanket, removable insulation jacketing, fire shielding, gaskets.
Our newly improved silica fabrics now offer increased heat resistance compared to other fabrics due to an outstanding silica content of 97% to 98%.
Using a proprietary manufacturing process we can form a smoother surface and ensure consistent silica content throughout the whole fabric. The high silica woven fabrics can be caramelized for removing additives, treated with chemically with a proprietary coating for enhanced abrasion resistance, and/or heat shrunk for dimensional stability. The extensive product lineup of High Silica Woven Fabrics includes the silica fabrics with width of 92cm to 127cm, and a variety of surface treatments for enhanced properties.
